For your child, orthotics can help them avoid problems for the rest of their life. The arch support is often a temporary method with long lasting benefits. Sometimes a single pair can be enough. Talk to your pediatrician.
Certain materials are specially designed for people with diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis. These two diseases particularly affect the extremities of the body, including the feet. Orthotics help provide more comfort by soothing burning sensations and pain.
Biomechanical Assessment
The first visit lasts about an hour for a complete evaluation of your feet, posture and gait. If orthotics are deemed necessary and beneficial, we then proceed to the 3D molding of your feet and decide on the model. Several choices are available and our orthotist will guide you through the decision-making process. Several colors, textures and thicknesses are available! Whether you need flexibility, rigidity or a little of both, there are no limits as your orthotics will be custom-made and true to you.
After the evaluation is complete, your orthotics are created and a second visit is scheduled shortly after for delivery, fitting and adjustment to the shoe.
